Knitting Monsters

 This week we were all about yarn.  The boys learned how to tie reef knots and made pot holders as gifts. Then they taught the girls the knot, so as a class, we could tie two quilts.  We will give them away in January.  Stay tuned to read who will receive them.  We learned how to spool knit and knit with two needles.  Some parents think our teacher has created knitting monsters! J  

            On Tuesday we repeated our magical, interesting, concert for the whole school.  It was astonishing! 

            We wrote persuasive letters to our teacher’s children trying to convince them that she deserves an I-pod Nano.  It took the last two classes to get her a Wii!  We wonder how convincing we will be.  We wrote our own persuasive letters to Santa.  Stop by and read them posted on our bulletin board.

            Mrs. Cameron, our wonderful cook, made us a tasty, delicious, turkey dinner last week.
