Maplewood Manor!
We walked across the playground to deliver the quilts to the residents of the Manor. Dr Jeff Williams asked us to sit in the 150 year old front palour to visit and chat. Some of the ladies looked very closely at our stitches and said we did a good job.
Our school placed second in the RCMP Adopt-a-Libray Reading Challenge. We have won new books for our libray.
We finished our paper bag hats. They are on the bulletin board in our hallway. Check them out as you walk by. They represent the different ancient cultures we have studied in Social Studies. Can you match the hat with the following cultures, Chinese, Mayan, Egyptian, Aztec, And Greek.
Since March Break we have been busy practicing, practicing, and more practicing of our Readers Theatre. Again, these were part of our studies about Ancient Societies. We have used the School's new Digital Voice Tracers to record them. Stay tuned to hear us on the blog.
You people are so busy! I like reading about what you are doing. We will be on Spring break for the next two weeks, but when we come back I think we will start a blog too. We are a special class that you don't have in Canada. We are called Prep, and we have finished Kindergarten but are not yet ready to go to grade 1 but we are working hard to be ready for Grade 1 in the fall.
