Our praying mantis started to hatch this morning! All of a sudden the sac erupted and the babies started to pour out. It was like a scene from a horror movie! We created a habitat for them to in an old aquarium. In a few days we will take one home for our gardens.
This sounds exciting! I am going to send your teacher a picture of a preying mantis that I took a few months ago, and she can show it to you.
